Though it was nice to have a week off of classes due to a flood and to have another day off for a snow day, but everyone in my class would agree we are screwed in completing all over assignments on time.
I understand it is not the teachers' fault for having class cancelled, and neither is it the students'...however the students are the ones the have to pay the price.
The first month of classes seems to have just disappeared, and with Reading Week coming in a week, that is almost another month just GONE!
At the present moment I am sitting in my media relations class, trying to pay attention, but none of it seems to be sinking in. I just feel a lot of my classes are just there to waste time. The material covered in this class is straight from the textbook-so why did they make this class two days.
The teacher is talking about a "Perfect Pitch" and how to get journalist interested in using one's stories. I have some of my own ideas on this; however, I am pretty sure the teacher would disagree with me
"Be Friendly"...I have paid $3600 this year to be taught to be friendly to clients or journalist...I am sorry but I got say "no shit!"
This is my first ranting blog, and I didn't want to go down this path, but long and behold, here it is.
Logos, Brands, Products, Marketing, Ads, you name it! All which are consuming our lives. Now it time to divide and conquer the world of consumerism and not let it consume us! Separating the good, the bad, and the ugly in consumer goods
