The all nighter trick

It is now 2:10 a.m. and my assignment pile on my desk doesn't seem to be getting any less. Even though I didn't not leave my homework until the last minute, I feel as if I didn't not get enough time to complete it. (feeling like that ^)

This seems to happen every term to me. What is it about the night time that makes my brain work better?! Had all day (literary all day-no classes or work) to work on it, but instead I spent my time snoozing away. Worst part of it, I knew I would wait until the last minute to get it done, not sure what it is with students to wait, wait until its too late. Most assignments are given out at the beginning of the term, so we as students can schedule ourselves to have the time to complete them as well as have a social life- but nope.

The music that is playing in the background seems so absurd as well, got it on a random play list-

Music Play list : "Hard Sun" Eddie Vedder -Into the wild soundtrack
"the Perfect Drug" Nine Ince Nails - Lost Highway
" Ghosts n Stuff" Deadmau5/ Rob Swire
etc.

Well need to work on this homework playlist

Trip to the Falls

Got to say my friends are some of the best people out there.

This weekend we planned a trip to N Falls for a night-to go shopping in the states and enjoy some arcade games.

I wasn't aware was the surprise they had for me. I was working at an event the night before we were to leave for the trip, my friend offered to pick me up and drive me over to her house so we can all be together in the morning to leave early for the trip. I made them wait awhile and felt bad that I rushed to get my stuff together.

As we pull out from my parking lot I realized that we were going the wrong way…no one listened to me saying “ guys we are going the wrong way..” I was a tad confused about that. It was until my friend turned around and told me we are heading to the falls that night and staying in some dinky motel on the way, I was so surprised and didn’t think it was something my friends could pull off.

The drive home was rather quick as well, it included us napping for most it and catching up on our lost sleep from the weekend. The trip was a success: watching my friends spend over $200 on clothes and goodies.

Getting across to the states was amusing, and the Keg was amazing with hair and all : )

Windows 7 phone

Every time I see the new Windows 7 phone commercial, " Really", I can't help but smile and laugh, because it true!

All my friends can vouch for the fact that I get too distracted by my phone. I think Windows did a good job with the commercial. It actually made me carious about the phone because the commercial didn't give too much away.

Now how can you not find this funny?!
But think about what this says about us as a society and how a smart phone have taken over lives; less funny, but isn't true that we laugh at the truth because it's easier than admitting it.

Just think about how many times you were distracted with your phone, and think about how /if it took away from what you were doing and if you missed out on anything.......
